What it's really like to get tattooed by me

The moment you walk through the door of my tattoo studio, there’s nothing you need to prove or perform.

This moment is about you.

And our session could look a hundred different ways.

Sometimes we talk about family, kids, travel, food, dogs, relationships, business.

Sometimes we go deep and share personal stories that we don't share with that many other people.

Sometimes we reflect on big meanings of life, have profound spiritual contemplations and insights that stay with us long after.

And other times we just sit in silence and it becomes a moment to relax.. or meditate.. or catch up on some messages.

I don’t expect you to be any specific way.

I just want you to feel comfortable being yourself. And whatever supports you through the potential discomfort of getting tattooed...

I’m here for it.

I tattoo a lot of first-timers.

I tattoo people in their 60s.

I’ve tattooed young people who came with their moms,

Queer couples getting matching tattoos (but of course more abstract and much more artistic and tasteful than your usual)…

I’ve tattooed serious collectors who’ve flown across the world…

And locals who stumbled across my work and instantly said yes.

For someone who considers herself an introvert, I’m so deeply grateful for this opportunity to meet so many people from all walks of life.. and offer them a cozy, safe, memorable experience that ends with a new piece of art living on their body.

So… will you be next?

Love,
Jio
